Meet little Noah, one of the cutest little boys I have been fortunate to meet.
Like most little ones, Noah (and teddy too!) was more than happy to go and ‘explore’ Lichfield with me on our shoot and
we got some of my favourite child portraits this year!
Please enjoy his energy and smiles!

When Lisa walks into your life you certainly know about it! She has immense passion and energy for her work, family, friendships and believes in ‘having it all’. Lisa wanted some new images to help promote her becoming the new leader for Damsels in Success in Sutton Coldfield. Damsels is a Unique Personal Growth Community for women, where Lisa provides a great environment for as she says to ‘learn, laugh, grow, celebrate our successes and overcome our personal challenges.’
Lisa is a fantastic coach and specialises in helping mums in business with her Hassled to Happy Coaching company.
I wish Lisa every success, she certainly deserves it.
Here are the ones she picked for her package, enjoy!

Alicia was one of my first portraits I did this year and she soon got me back into the new year!
Studying dance at Roehampton her parents live in Tamworth, so while she was visiting for Christmas her mum booked her a lovely portrait session to get some nice publicity shots and some ones demonstrating a few of her in action.
It was freezing! So most of what we did was in the studio, but I love this shot of Alicia. I love this green gate – it’s just around the corner from my studio and I knew her colouring would just look fabulous with it!
So here are some of my and Alicia’s faves from the shoot – there were plenty that’s for sure.
If you are interested in having some portfolio shots or a business portrait, please email me and I will send you some pricing options.
So wishing Alicia every success in her future and hoping she won’t be a stranger and will pop in again next time she is home!
Enjoy!

When Helen came for her shoot she had had quite a time of it to say the least. She had sadly lost her father earlier in the year and had gone through a massive physical change by losing 10 stone (yes 10 stone!) in just under 2 years. As a vetinery nurse she has her fair share of less than glamourous moments so she was very ready for a bit of a makeover and some fun.
After her initial consultation we booked the shoot fully satisfied with what Helen wanted to achieve. We had the most fabulous morning, having fun playing with outfits and colours and I am sure you will agree that Helen looks relaxed, beautiful and a girl having some fun. Helen is getting married in June next year and I wish her and her very lucky hubby to be all the very best.
Here is a selection of the digital files Helen purchased and I know she will love them for some time!
You were fab Helen! I am so very glad to have met you!
I am so far behind on my blogging it is unbelievable! However there is no time like the present and I have vowed to catch up with them and post by post I’ll get there.
So here we find ourselves looking at a wonderful lady – Grace Marshall.
Grace is a life and business coach and I have to say has one of the most infectious smiles I have come across. Grace is always upbeat, happy and full of energy – my kind of lady! She runs a networking group called busy mums and also runs fabulous workshops.
I was delighted when she called to book a business portrait shoot and as a regular on the social media sites, Grace is using her images to the max…again my kind of lady. Grace came from Stafford to the studio in Lichfield with lots of different tops but ended up chosing one with her wearing pink…something she said she didn’t think she’d do! Think it really shows of her beautiful dark hair!
Here are the two images she chose to use from her choice following her shoot.
For more information about Grace’s work why not take a peek at her website…there are some fabulous photographs on there!

I've run my beginners workshop a few times now and I have to say I love doing them. I really enjoy seeing my newbies get very excited with their 'Ahhha' moments and helping them take better photographs….to have others share my excitement over it all is fabulous fun!
On the last workshop we had rain, didn't matter whilst we were running through the theories in the comfort of my viewing room and we got lucky and were able to dodge the little showers and get out into Lichfield with our fabulous model Karen to start shooting in the afternoon. We were looking for a variety of backgrounds and the best light to play with, and we found some fabulous spots and got some great comments and looks from the good people of Lichfield too!!
There was only 4 of us in the end on this occassion but this made for a good amount of hands on time and lots of variety with our shots, the learning curve was steep and very successful.
Here are a few shots of my clients taking images and some of my shots of Karen I took for her on the day in return for her wonderful time!
Big shout out for Karen – you were wonderful…thank you very much!
If you are interested in attending one of my beginners workshops and you have a DSLR or even an SLR, then please get in touch or take a look at my website for more details on the next course on September 25th. I am also now doing vouchers for the workshops which make a wonderful gift, bet you know just the person!!
Kate and I first met last year and we have shared a few nights discussing running our own businesses and the tricky world of managing it around a family, she is a lovely and very smart woman and I have a great deal of time for her.
Kate, like me is 40 (Yay for the fab and forties!) and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2004. She has over 15 years experience in finance and she set up her own business BMB Solutions in Nov 2009 to offer accounting support to SME's and sole traders and it really is going from strength to strength. Take a peek at her website
Like most of my business portrait clients, she thought it was time to take the plunge and get in front of the camera to get some fabulous images to go on her social media accounts, to accompany press releases and for general marketing use.
I was delighted with Kate as she has to have been one of my most nervous clients ever about having her photograph taken, I am sure you will agree she looks fabulous!
Kate – you are a superstar and I had great pleasure taking these of you…..now what's next Kate? How about getting out your wedding dress and doing a 'rock the frock' shoot?
Here are the two that Kate chose for her package.
It's not everyday I get a call asking if it's OK to wear a superhero's outfit for a business portrait! When creative guys like Sean walk into your life it is never a dull moment!
I grew up with Batman and Robin and ever since Del and Rodney did that famous Batman and Robin scene in Only Fools and Horses I dare you not to raise a smile at the thought of this character, so 'Zowie Batman!' we had a giggle with this shoot. Sean wanted some shots for a promotoion he was creating for his own business and who am I not to let these creative juices flow.
'Kapow' Sean entered my studio and off to work we went! Sean is as you can imagine also a good business man and a serious networker so we also took some other shots of Sean being himself….and what a contrast they are!
Here are some of my favourites from this shoot, one I will not forget in a hurry!!

0 Marla came to me a few weeks, with lots of clothes and options and a
fabulous smile on her face. Marla is the director and
owner of Enterprise Solutions and she specialises in Women's Enterprise, there was lots to talk about there for us!
A pleasure to photograph, she has the fabulously expressive eyes, so we kept them sparkling and went through some different looks. I particuarly like the image where Marla is leaning on the wall, as when I first suggested it she looked at me as if I was insane…and then said 'go on then'…turned out to be one of her favourites…Yay!
So here are the four images Marla chose in her package and for more information about the great work Marla does, why not contact her through LinkedIn..
