Photography Workshops
I've run my beginners workshop a few times now and I have to say I love doing them. I really enjoy seeing my newbies get very excited with their 'Ahhha' moments and helping them take better photographs….to have others share my excitement over it all is fabulous fun!
On the last workshop we had rain, didn't matter whilst we were running through the theories in the comfort of my viewing room and we got lucky and were able to dodge the little showers and get out into Lichfield with our fabulous model Karen to start shooting in the afternoon. We were looking for a variety of backgrounds and the best light to play with, and we found some fabulous spots and got some great comments and looks from the good people of Lichfield too!!
There was only 4 of us in the end on this occassion but this made for a good amount of hands on time and lots of variety with our shots, the learning curve was steep and very successful.
Here are a few shots of my clients taking images and some of my shots of Karen I took for her on the day in return for her wonderful time!

Our one-day workshop covers..
- ISO, aperture and shutter speeds – what's that all about?!
- The settings on your camera explained…what you need to know to get you started.
- Natural light – how best to use it in portraiture!
- Composition – what makes a photograph great?
- The practical side – we will be taking some photographs of real people and at the studio and out and about in Lichfield!
What you need to bring with you
- A dslr camera
- Something warm/waterproof/cool to wear as we will be going outside to photograph and who knows what the weather will be like!
- A smile and ears open!

Sunday 17th July, 10am – 4pm

- If you are a member of WiRE or BNI there is a £20 discount

We accept all major credit and debit cards (please note there is a 1.95% charge for a credit card transaction) or a bank transfer can be arranged.

Earlier this month I ran a one-day photography training course at my home studio in Burntwood and the fun, information and 'ahhh ha! moments flowed for all who attended. Carmen was our 'model' for the practical part of the day – and fabulous she was too. Here are some of the shots I took that day – we were working with natural light with some cheeky relection thrown in – gorgeous! Many thanks to Carmen for her patience on the day.
