Lisa and Mike are getting married at Delbury Hall in Shropshire. A gorgeous couple so very much in love
and a venue I can’t wait to shoot a wedding at….perfect!
These guys met at Uni and just can’t help but smile at each other all the time! They are a pleasure to be
around and we hit it off from the very start of our first meeting.
They chose to have their pre-wedding shoot in Lichfield, a place close to my heart and we had a wonderful
couple of hours together. They instantly relaxed and we all had a giggle!
Please take a look at this fabulous couple and join me in wishing them a spectacular wedding day and
wonderful future together.

This wedding was incredibly small and intimate and one I shall never forget!
Tanya and I first spoke just 2 days before her and Geoff’s wedding day back in November last year. As it was such short notice I already had a small shoot booked for the time of the wedding however, Tanya sounded fabulous and she also had an enormously heart wrenching reason for them getting married in such a way. My very understanding client happily moved their shoot and I was able to shoot their wedding.
Tanya and Geoff have been together for 15 years and have two gorgeous boys, Charlie (4) and Ollie (2), always meaning to tie the knot but as busy Dr’s with 2 small children the time had never come up. So why now? Just 5 weeks previously Tanya and Geoff had been given the devastating news that little Charlie had leukemia and was to start 3 years of treatment…so quite clearly they felt the need to really pull together as a couple and a family…and so they made it happen!
The wedding was at Birmingham registry office and it was freezing! But everyone’s spirits were high and the boys were full of excitement. Tanya’s sister and very best friend were their witnesses and in we went. It was a lovely ceremony with lots of giggling as the boys’ excitement built further, there was tugging at mum’s dress and lots of questions about what was happening and when were they going to have a biscuit! Simply fabulous, kids will be kids whether you are getting married or not! I felt very priviledged to be there.
After the ceremony was we popped outside for some portraits and abit of fun with the boys. It was important to them that this day was about the four of them and it was lovely! I then left them heading into Birmingham for a champagne dinner and a few more treats before bedtime for the boys! So short but very sweet.
Take a peek at these guys on their special day. Tanya tells me they are going to have a ‘big wedding’ when Charlie’s treatment is complete and I hope to be involved again. But most importantly I am also delighted to report that Charlie’s treatment is going well and all is going to plan!
Enjoy!

I loved photographing Nell and Ben! They are so laid back, relaxed and lovely to be with.
Nell and Ben got married on 5th November at the beautiful Patshull Hall in South Staffordshire, so not too far for me either and plenty of gorgeous surroundings to match my gorgeous couple. Nell wore a super sleek and stunning Jenny Packham dress and for those of you who know Nell, knows that she is always smiling and looking radiant! So lovely day for me too.
Despite this being a winter wedding, we had great weather and although it was a little chilly, the open fires and warmth of great company kept everyone’s spirits high! I am told they partied on until the small hours of the next day, so that kept them warm too!
Nell and Ben have ordered a gorgeous Duo Album by Queensberry and I am enjoying getting that designed no end, as you will see.
Here are some of my favourites from the day.
Congratulations to Nell and Ben!
Tina is mad about ‘Merlin’ and like many fans she just loves Warwick Castle for it’s ‘Merlin’ associations and experience!
So Warwick Castle is the perfect place for these two to get married and with a medieval themed wedding, I just know this is going to be a fabulous wedding. Throw in a bit of ‘oh at Christmas time’ as well and we’re going to be in for some interesting photography!
Tina and Phillip live in Luton so we just decided to do their pre-wedding shoot at the Castle as well as it was fabulous weather and is about half way between us. We know that their wedding is going to be taking place in the dark from start to finish, so I knew it would have a completely different feel to their wedding day anyway! A fabulous fun morning we spent at the castle!
Here are some of my favourite images from their shoot.
Better late than never!
Sonia and Anthony are getting married at the end of this week at beautiful Wroxall Abbey. We did their pre-wedding shoot in gorgeous Lichfield just under two weeks ago and what a day we got – the weather was stunning and we made the most of the english ‘Indian Summer’.
After a quick meeting over last minute details on the wedding at the studio we set out into the sunshine. Sonia and Anthony soon relaxed into it all and I am very much looking forward to photographing these two. Chilled and in love – what more can I ask for?!
Here are some of my favourites from their shoot.

0 When Lisa and Mark booked me as their wedding photographer I was very excited, I have known Lisa’s sister for a couple of years now and I was hoping Lisa was as fabulous….and of course she is! These two are a great couple and clearly work very well together. Do they have that unique chemistry that make couples work…hell yeah! Love them.
They got married at Stafford’s Registry Office and then had their reception at The Nag’s Head in Burntwood. As the day was so gorgeous we stopped for about 20 mins and took some shots at Cannock Chase and the results were stunning. Friends and family were all so welcoming, friendly and just laughing ALL the time…lovely wedding.
Here are some of my favourites taken on the day.
Congratulations again to Lisa and Mark and I look forward to designing their album very soon!

I am so lucky with my clients! I photographed Mark and Lisa’s wedding back in September and when they came into the studio to view their images (soon to be blogged) on Wednesday last week I asked them if they fancied helping me with my new found love for light painting….lucky for me they were up for it and agreed to come back tonight for a few shots.
Lichfield Cathedral was not lit tonight (shame!) when we got there so I would like to thank my sister Claire very much for popping along to help with some extra flash painting so we could see some of the Cathedral. I hope you agree that we created some fabulous atmospheric images (better than I had planned with it being lit up!)…I just love these!
I wanted to produce images that combine my love of romantic yet sexy posing with a little funkiness thrown in…and I wasn’t disappointed. Mark and Lisa are hot hot hot and I hardly had to direct them at all….fabulous!!
So thanks again to Claire and of course to my amazing couple, Mark and Lisa….hope you guys love these as much as I do.
Love to know what you think of them, please feel free to comment!
A little sneak peek from this mornings pre-wedding shoot in Lichfield with Nell and Ben. Yet again I have attracted a fabulous couple, Nell is gorgeous in every way and Ben is so very laid back he is practically horizontal…he is also a fireman who will be in uniform for the wedding – Yay!

3 Richard is a farmer! Alison is now a farmer’s wife!
This wedding was fantastic!
It was arranged in just over 5 months and every detail was carefully planned by them both…well Alison mainly! Having a beautiful farm to host your wedding reception is a fabulous advantage and being able to select the date around harvest time is just heaven for these two, and so it all came together. Even the tractor had a good polish before the big day and it felt as if everyone in Grimscote had been involved in some way. Wonderful.
Alison had a true desire for a typically English wedding with a real vintage feel. This was beautifully achieved. Her Sophia Tolli dress with the lace detailing and a semi-cathedral train was stunning and her brand new red wellington boots really set it off in the shot with the tractor!
With just shy of 200 guests, their paddock and marquee bustled with guests all having a wonderful time. To get the group shot I had the pleasure of going up on a flat bed sissor lift, when the guests started shouting ‘higher higher’ as I was going up I knew I get a fab shot!
Wonderful couple, beautiful church, great vicar, vintage details, vintage car, great fun guests, an amazing marquee, amazing flowers and funny yet touching speeches all really made my job very easy on this day. I was with them for almost 12 hours and it just flew by!
Alison and Richard are complete stars, so very much in love and I was honoured to be a part of their day. I left after the sun had gone down and their band Soul Matters were really getting the party going.
Here are some of my favourite shots from the day, I love the last shot, they look so happy and relaxed, with the marquee all lit up and the guests in the background having a great time. A beautiful finish for their Queensberry Album!
