When Lisa walks into your life you certainly know about it! She has immense passion and energy for her work, family, friendships and believes in ‘having it all’. Lisa wanted some new images to help promote her becoming the new leader for Damsels in Success in Sutton Coldfield. Damsels is a Unique Personal Growth Community for women, where Lisa provides a great environment for as she says to ‘learn, laugh, grow, celebrate our successes and overcome our personal challenges.’
Lisa is a fantastic coach and specialises in helping mums in business with her Hassled to Happy Coaching company.
I wish Lisa every success, she certainly deserves it.
Here are the ones she picked for her package, enjoy!

Wayne is a property developer and needed some images for his business card and marketing materials when he called. Lovely chap and fabulously ambitious I am sure he will be a roaring success.
Wishing you every success Wayne in your new venture

Alicia was one of my first portraits I did this year and she soon got me back into the new year!
Studying dance at Roehampton her parents live in Tamworth, so while she was visiting for Christmas her mum booked her a lovely portrait session to get some nice publicity shots and some ones demonstrating a few of her in action.
It was freezing! So most of what we did was in the studio, but I love this shot of Alicia. I love this green gate – it’s just around the corner from my studio and I knew her colouring would just look fabulous with it!
So here are some of my and Alicia’s faves from the shoot – there were plenty that’s for sure.
If you are interested in having some portfolio shots or a business portrait, please email me and I will send you some pricing options.
So wishing Alicia every success in her future and hoping she won’t be a stranger and will pop in again next time she is home!
Enjoy!

0 Meet Elaine or ‘Ellie’ to her friends. Some of you may know her as the current Ladies Captain at the Beau Desert Golf Club near Lichfield in Staffordshire.
Elaine is a lovely woman but was a little nervous about having her photograph taken. She needed an ‘official’ photograph to go up in the golf club and wanted therefore to ensure she had a good one.
We also booked the lovely Sheelagh Powell, who came to the studio to do Elaine’s make up for her shoot.
Elaine brought several changes of clothes which we went through and picked to ones most fitting for her shoot, then away we went and I have to say Elaine was fabulous. She took on board everything I said to her and we got some fabulous shots….to the point where Elaine left saying what a wonderful time she had had!
Here are the two she picked for the clubhouse and I know she is very proud of them!…and so she should be she looks wonderful, just as everyone around her already sees her!

I am so far behind on my blogging it is unbelievable! However there is no time like the present and I have vowed to catch up with them and post by post I’ll get there.
So here we find ourselves looking at a wonderful lady – Grace Marshall.
Grace is a life and business coach and I have to say has one of the most infectious smiles I have come across. Grace is always upbeat, happy and full of energy – my kind of lady! She runs a networking group called busy mums and also runs fabulous workshops.
I was delighted when she called to book a business portrait shoot and as a regular on the social media sites, Grace is using her images to the max…again my kind of lady. Grace came from Stafford to the studio in Lichfield with lots of different tops but ended up chosing one with her wearing pink…something she said she didn’t think she’d do! Think it really shows of her beautiful dark hair!
Here are the two images she chose to use from her choice following her shoot.
For more information about Grace’s work why not take a peek at her website…there are some fabulous photographs on there!
If you are interested in having a business portrait done, please click here for more information or give me a call on 01543 419140 or 07525 337099.
Kate and I first met last year and we have shared a few nights discussing running our own businesses and the tricky world of managing it around a family, she is a lovely and very smart woman and I have a great deal of time for her.
Kate, like me is 40 (Yay for the fab and forties!) and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2004. She has over 15 years experience in finance and she set up her own business BMB Solutions in Nov 2009 to offer accounting support to SME's and sole traders and it really is going from strength to strength. Take a peek at her website
Like most of my business portrait clients, she thought it was time to take the plunge and get in front of the camera to get some fabulous images to go on her social media accounts, to accompany press releases and for general marketing use.
I was delighted with Kate as she has to have been one of my most nervous clients ever about having her photograph taken, I am sure you will agree she looks fabulous!
Kate – you are a superstar and I had great pleasure taking these of you…..now what's next Kate? How about getting out your wedding dress and doing a 'rock the frock' shoot?
Here are the two that Kate chose for her package.
It's not everyday I get a call asking if it's OK to wear a superhero's outfit for a business portrait! When creative guys like Sean walk into your life it is never a dull moment!
I grew up with Batman and Robin and ever since Del and Rodney did that famous Batman and Robin scene in Only Fools and Horses I dare you not to raise a smile at the thought of this character, so 'Zowie Batman!' we had a giggle with this shoot. Sean wanted some shots for a promotoion he was creating for his own business and who am I not to let these creative juices flow.
'Kapow' Sean entered my studio and off to work we went! Sean is as you can imagine also a good business man and a serious networker so we also took some other shots of Sean being himself….and what a contrast they are!
Here are some of my favourites from this shoot, one I will not forget in a hurry!!

0 Marla came to me a few weeks, with lots of clothes and options and a
fabulous smile on her face. Marla is the director and
owner of Enterprise Solutions and she specialises in Women's Enterprise, there was lots to talk about there for us!
A pleasure to photograph, she has the fabulously expressive eyes, so we kept them sparkling and went through some different looks. I particuarly like the image where Marla is leaning on the wall, as when I first suggested it she looked at me as if I was insane…and then said 'go on then'…turned out to be one of her favourites…Yay!
So here are the four images Marla chose in her package and for more information about the great work Marla does, why not contact her through LinkedIn..
I can guarantee that once you have met Stewart there is no forgetting him! He is a fabulous chap, a professional through and through and has a little habit of slapping a table and demonstrating the range of his voice in a humourous and effective manner like no other I have met (If you have met him during a network meeting you will know what I mean!) All great stuff, so I was delighted when Stewart asked me to 'shoot' him as he wanted some new images for his social media accounts.
Stewart was so easy to photograph as he was so relaxed and confident (a military background brings great discipline and I know he has been in many more situtations FAR more scary than having his photograph taken!)
Stewart is now in the recruitment business, but one with a difference. He specialises in placing ex-military personnel with companies looking to recruit employees with skill sets that match. As an ex-forces man himself he completely understands everything from any resettlement issues to the skills and trade qualifications and experience they have to offer to the job market. Passionate about what he does he is the man to contact if you are looking to recruit in the north Birmingham area! For more information on Stewart's work take a peek.
So here are the 4 images Stewart chose from the 40 edited from his social media portrait session. Stewart brough several shirt changes and so gave himself a good choice. Please give me a call if you are interested in a session like this or take a look at my website
Kim is nothing short of a wonderful person, the most helpful person, one of the busiest women I know and a natural networker…..oh and a fabulous Mum to 3 year old Oli! She runs her own monthly networking event in Cannock, works as a marketing co-ordinator at Passionate Media and writes reviews for Have a Lovely Time. Phew! But there is even more to Kim….and it's not a secret, she is a complete ' Book Worm!' and now has a blog to prove it.
Kim has a love of 'chick lit' and decided to start her own blog, Kim The Book Worm and there are many who are very pleased she did!
I have photographed Kim before and so the whole process was much easier this time as Kim knew what to expect and she was much more comfortable in front of the camera. It was very informal, just at her home, where she does her reading and reviews.
Here are some of the shots we took for her to use on her blog, among other places she may choose to use them.
I wish Kim every success with her blog – she certainly deserves it! Please take a look..
